We Make It Easy For You To
Hear Better In Waterloo, ON
Due to our community’s close proximity to Kitchener, we’re often included in the “twin cities” title “Kitchener-Waterloo,” but we are a unique community 94 km southwest of Toronto in the Regional Municipality of Waterloo. Settled heavily by Mennonite families from Lancaster and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania, Waterloo, ON has a strong German heritage.
Though farming was a part of Waterloo’s early development, gristmills and sawmills were the major industries in our area during the early days of our community. Today our community is known for its strong knowledge- and service-based economy with significant insurance and high-tech sectors and two universities, as well as home to three well-known think tanks: the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics, the Institute for Quantum Computing, and the Centre for International Governance Innovation.
In spite of the advanced development of our community, family values are as strong today as they have ever been, which is why Arnold Hearing Centres, with our independent, family-owned and operated hearing clinic, has fit right into Waterloo Region for over 70 years. We were built on the passion and commitment of our caring and experienced sta, who are dedicated to serving the needs of our hearing-impaired patients.
We customize our services for the unique needs of each patient we see, and we will do everything we can to make sure you’re not only satisfied with your hearing health care experience but delighted throughout your journey to better hearing.

Hearing Assessments
When Was Your Last Hearing Assessment?
Although we all regularly have our eyes tested, our teeth checked, and our blood pressure tested, hardly any of us regularly test our hearing.
Yet with the latest data reporting that 1 in 8 adults have a hearing challenge and the World Health Organization predicting that hearing loss will double by 2050, a regular hearing assessment should be added to all of our lists of priority health checks.
The biggest challenge with hearing loss is that it often happens slowly and gradually, which means that it’s impossible to notice the day-to-day changes with no way to compare your hearing today to what it was once like.
But by simply having a regular non-invasive hearing assessment, you can ensure that your hearing health remains a priority and any early signs of a hearing challenge can be properly dealt with at source rather than when it’s too late.

Prescription Hearing Aid Technology
Small, Discreet, and Even Invisible Prescription Hearing Aids
One of the biggest things that hold most people back from addressing a hearing challenge is the outdated stigma that is associated with prescription hearing aids.
Although it’s true that none of us grow up looking forward to the day that we can wear hearing devices, today’s technology is much different from the large, clunky devices that helped fuel the stigma in years gone by.
The truth is that today’s technology is small, discreet, and, in some cases, even invisible. In fact, many of the families that we work with tell us that their friends and/or colleagues have never even noticed they are wearing them.
Best of all, with Bluetooth connectivity, long-lasting rechargeable batteries, and the ability to stream music, phone calls, and audio to your prescription hearing aids, they no longer just amplify your hearing, but they also amplify your ability to connect with the world around you.

Earwax Removal Experts For the Kitchener, Guelph, Simcoe, and Waterloo Communities
If your ears feel blocked, or if you feel that you’re struggling to hear as well as you once did, then there’s a strong chance that it may be due to an over-accumulation of earwax.
Although highly common, if left untreated, a buildup of earwax can cause many challenges, including a temporary or a sudden hearing loss, a feeling of fullness in your ear, dizziness, headaches, balance issues, and ear pain.
Yet the solution is simple, pain-free, and effective. By visiting a hearing care expert at Arnold Hearing Centres, you can have your ears professionally cleaned using state-of-the-art equipment to ensure you’re hearing better and your ears well and truly receive some much-needed love.
Meet the Team

Professional, Caring, Respectful, and Honest. I have always been extremely pleased with the quality of service from a long-time Family ran Business. It can be a very stressful feeling to need a hearing test, and I felt very comfortable throughout the process. I also needed to obtain short term service for one of my children, which is another stressful event, but the care provided at Arnold Hearing Centre’s put me completely at ease. I would happily recommend Arnold Hearing Centre’s to any of my Family, Friends, or Co-Workers.
