It’s fair to say that the past year has been a whirlwind for us all, with none of us sure of the outcome.

With many challenges thrown our way, you can imagine how thrilled we were to be recognized for our hard work.

For the Waterloo Region Record Readers’ Choice Awards 2021, we won several platinum awards including, audiologist, audiology services, employer and hearing services.

In addition, Sarah Funkenhauser won platinum for hearing care professional, and I won gold!

Out of all of these, platinum recognition as an employer was particularly important. This award represented all businesses in the region, not necessarily hearing-related businesses.

Providing a successful working environment for my employees is extremely important to me, and I look forward to watching my team thrive in 2022.

For the Guelph Mercury Tribune Reader’s Choice Awards, we also won platinum for audiology services, gold for hearing services, and Sarah Wilkinson won gold for hearing care professional.

Growing up in Kitchener, Ontario, Chris went to Durham and George Brown College. As the owner of Arnold Hearing Centres, he manages all locations, as well as handles all the marketing, reporting, meetings, and makes sure that both the staff and patients have a positive experience. Ultimately, there is a lot of pressure on Chris to ensure he delivers results year after year, but he credits the clinic’s success down to the amazing staff that has now become family. Truly, he enjoys working alongside everyone each day.
