You probably know by now that I love being able to shine a spotlight on the local businesses in my neighbourhood. I feel fortunate to live and work in Southern Ontario, where there are so many amazing small business owners to support.

Choosing to shop locally supports and improves our community, and it makes us feel like we can trust and have faith in our hometown! I’d rather give back to our community and support a small, local business than shop with a large corporation.

Tijana Jefic HIS

As a hearing instrument specialist, she is involved with hearing tests, hearing aid counselling, hearing aid cleaning and repairs, as well as earwax removal. Often, it can be hard to pinpoint Tijana’s role in one particular job, as she is involved in multiple aspects, but she is mainly involved with anything that is required to satisfy the patient. With customer service the number one priority, she always makes sure that each interaction she has with the patient is always positive. Everyone that enters our clinic always notes how welcome they feel, and it’s all down to the family atmosphere we have created. Due to the nature of her role, she has many patients that come to her, worried about hearing technology, unsure of whether it’s right for them. Once, she had a patient who had nothing but problems with their past hearing aids and the previous clinic they went to. Tijana approached their issues with care, which made a huge difference in the overall satisfaction they received from their hearing aids. It was hugely rewarding and made such a difference in the patient’s life. Outside of work, Tijana is very family orientated and enjoys travelling, hiking, and any other recreational activities. She also loves to watch movies, listen to music, and hang out with close friends.
