You Don’t Have To Live With The Ringing In Your Ears
Approximately 9.2 million Canadians, or 24% of the population, experience acute or chronic tinnitus annually.
However, about 7% of these people experience tinnitus that is so severe that it leads to anxiety, depression, strained relationships with family and friends, difficulty concentrating, and/or sleep loss. Although there’s no permanent cure for tinnitus, a hearing test can help to establish the right path to manage the condition effectively.
I suffer with tinnitus and I was literally panicking about getting my blocked ears cleaned! I can not stress enough how gentle and understanding Sara, the woman who worked on me was. The whole experience, from start to finish with this office was great! thank you

Common Ways to Manage Tinnitus
Tinnitus can be a frustrating and disruptive condition, but there are proven methods to help manage its impact. At Arnold Hearing Centres, we offer personalized solutions to reduce the ringing or buzzing in your ears and improve your overall well-being.
Hearing Aids or Masking Devices
Since tinnitus is often linked to hearing loss, hearing aids can help by improving overall hearing clarity while reducing tinnitus symptoms. Additionally, sound-masking devices generate soothing background noise to help minimize the perception of ringing.
Counseling & Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a research-backed approach that helps individuals reframe their response to tinnitus, reducing its emotional and psychological impact. Counseling sessions provide coping strategies to help manage tinnitus in everyday life.
Sound Therapy
Sound therapy uses soothing background noise, such as white noise, nature sounds, or soft music, to help mask tinnitus and make it less noticeable. Over time, your brain can learn to filter out the ringing, making it easier to focus and relax.
Lifestyle & Stress Management
Stress can make tinnitus worse, so managing it through exercise, meditation, and relaxation techniques can help reduce symptoms. Avoiding caffeine, nicotine, and loud environments can also play a key role in keeping tinnitus under control.
