Emily grew up in Richmond Hill. From a young age, she knew she wanted to have a career in healthcare. She had grown up with her frail grandparents and found it easy to empathise with others’ health struggles. Therefore, getting involved with hearing care to help others, especially the aging population, was an easy decision for her to make.
Based at Arnold Hearing Centres’ Elmira location, Emily’s daily responsibilities include completing hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, counselling and aural rehabilitation, earwax removal, taking earmold impressions for custom earplugs and staying up to date with the latest technology in the audiology world.
She finds helping others to hear better and improve their overall well-being to be super rewarding. Emily loves the hands-on work, connecting with clients and helping them connect with their world.
When she’s not working, Emily enjoys playing volleyball, trying new restaurants and recipes and having boardgame nights.
