Growing up north of Toronto, Deborah went to high school in Thornhill and university in St. Catharine’s and London, Ontario.
As an audiologist, most of her day is spent seeing patients, ensuring she gets to the root of every query. Naturally, she is involved in completing paperwork, as well as shipping and receiving orders.
During her role, she holds a high position of responsibility, meaning she often has a lot on her plate. However, her favourite part is that she is involved in a family-run business that all respect each other and work as a team.
Having worked at Arnold Hearing Centres for over 18 years, she has made a lasting legacy on the team and is looked up to by many of the patients.
Over the years, she has helped many patients improve their quality of life. If they can return to the things they love doing, such as playing cards and attending church, then it is the ultimate reward for her hard work.
The smiley faces that walk out the door as a result of her work are an example of how hard work and patience reap positive results.
Outside of work, she has 2 teenage boys that take up much of her time. She also loves to garden, swim in her pool, sit around a fire pit, and spend time outside in the winter.
