Sara grew up surrounded by countryside in Nova Scotia and Winnipeg.
As a hearing instrument specialist, she is involved with conducting hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, ear wax removal, and providing custom ear protection and counselling for patients.
Each day, Sara has a new challenge to face. Whether that’s talking to a patient or performing tests, she always works hard to ensure she gets to the root of the problem.
Personally, Sara enjoys helping patients who have unsuccessfully tried hearing aids at another clinic. Using her expertise, she completes a comprehensive hearing assessment, gives a thorough explanation, and fits the devices using her best practices.
Afterwards, the result is revolutionary, as the patient is so pleased and surprised at all the sounds that they were missing.
Ultimately, what makes it all worthwhile is the supportive work environment, where she is best set up to help her patients.
Outside of work, she is a busy mom of twin daughters. Their evenings and weekends are full of running here and there, extracurricular sporting activities, laundry, grocery shopping, as well as lots of fun. Their favourite places to visit are Disney World, Canada’s Wonderland, and swimming in their backyard pool
